Anita McIntosh has been drawing and painting since childhood, having been influenced by the artistry of her father. She completed a three-year course with the Famous Artists Schools of Westport, Connecticut, and has studied under Zolton Szabo, Jan Kunz and Shirley Landgraf. Her experience includes commercial art, design, oil, acrylic, and watercolor.
She has concentrated in watercolor for the last 25 years. Her work has been exhibited in several one-woman shows, in art and craft festivals, galleries, and many other locations. She has won awards and medals for her watercolor paintings and is a published author and free-lance writer.
She says, “when I can take the viewers’ eye to fond memories or newly found serendipities, I have accomplished my goal.”
