Art Share was founded by artists in Studio 117 in 2019 to increase the accessibility of original art in the city of Charlotte. Since then, Art Share has grown to include more artists and organizations during the past five years. By volunteering their time and talents, Art Share artists bring light and joy into homes and communities one piece of art at a time. We believe in the power of original art to transform spaces and enrich lives.
In 2022 in an effort to continue supporting affordable housing initiatives, Art Share partnered with Myers Park United Methodist Church to provide artwork for 39 Habitat for Humanity homes built in West Charlotte’s Plato Price community. Learn more about this project here.
