I retired 8 years ago and when a physical injury prevented me from playing tennis anymore I started painting. I have always been drawn to drawing and painting but started taking weekly lessons about 3 years ago. I absolutely love it. I became a member of the Rock Hill Artist Guild to stay up to date with what is going on and have successfully submitted work to shows.  I usually work from pictures. My motto is “show me a picture and I can do it!”

My 14 year old granddaughter loves what she calls “Oma Art,” Oma meaning grandma; how much more encouragement can you get? At this stage of my life it’s my passion and am so grateful that I can do this.
